Hinet Systems Inc. is Samsung Canada's primary retailer of refurbished electronics. They came to Aoulous Inc. with the desire to reach a global market and wider consumer range through the development of an advanced, easy to navigate, and reliable e-commerce site. After an extensive consultation, the Aoulous development team put together a comprehensive strategy for Hinet Systems Inc.'s on-line expansion.
It was decided that the core technologies used in the project would be a PHP script shopping cart interacting with a MySQL product and information database. The technologies were chosen primarily based on their stability, security, performance, and proven reliability in enterprise web site environments. Furthermore, because MySQL/PHP are open-source software, Hinet Systems Inc. was significantly able to reduce their infrastructure costs.
This powerful and robust backend was then teamed with one of our award winning front end designs, complete with a dynamic JavaScript menu system, PERL search engine to easily find products and information, and a web-based administrative interface to manage the product catalog. This blend of cutting edge technologies and design, Aoulous Inc. was able to provide a complete worry-free solution, resulting in a state of the art e-commerce web site that enabled Hinet Systems Inc. to take their products to the next level.
